Retro Styling? (pics)

Retro Styling? (pics) OK, a few questions here....
1st). I am going with a retro style, other than the wheels and the stripes, what could I do to mine to give it more of that 60's look. Chrome... Houndstooth? what do you think?
2nd). What do you think of these wheels? They kinda give me the old slotted ralley meets 5 star feel.

Re: Retro Styling? (pics) I figured out why i didnt like those wheels.. they have no lip.. no rim dish.. I never car for wheels where the spoke is even with the outside of the wheel.. you generally see that type on import cars due to offset.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: Retro Styling? (pics) Yeah, but I saw a silver Z with the Torqs on it and really didn't like it personally. Plus, that's what we have on the firebird. I thought about just simple old cragars but I dunno.

ever seen the American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels? Do they remind you of the Cragar SS's of the 70's? How about a red stripe on the tires, thats a 70's look. Lift the rear end up alittle bit, 70's again. Skinnies on the front? Cowl induction hood? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: Retro Styling? (pics) It's hard to tell from just a picture, but I kind of like them. The picture of the wheel itself looks like it has some dish to it. But I do agree with steve that ther's gotta be some dish or they don't look right on these cars. I am with you on the TT2s, I'm not real wild about them, plus there so many around.

Re: Retro Styling? (pics) Those are the American Racing, Black Widows. From what I have seen on their site, they make them for FWD and RWD so I'm guessing that the pic on the site may just be a FWD.
