got one side all wired up with the VRegs and load resistors and ready to record a vid tonight of the brightness! I'll only be able to do it at 11.38V again since my car is too loud for the neighbors. ill post back later.

looks amazing. instead of blindin oncoming traffic, u will be blinding ppl behind u when u brake. haha. but on a serious note, u could make a shitload of money selling these. just something to think about, and since i suggested it, i should be a tester.

nope. thats the cool thing about them you only have to wire one positive lead and one negative. bout to finish my tax return then taking a vid!

one suggestion is to find superflux that can run at 70mA. Preferably made by Lumileds which is made by philips i believe. a 20mA superflux wont be much brighter than a bright 5mm LED. check out hidplanet.com/forums in the for sale section and you can usually find ppl selling the lumiled brand for cheap. (where i got my red/orange ones)

Very nicely done! I'm in the middle of the same project myself and it's nice to see how well they can come out!

One question though. Where did you get the PC Boards!! I'm using radio shack boards now and at $5 ea they're getting expensive quick with the trial and error I'm going through.

HERES 2 videos. they dont do it justice how bright it really is.

this is just a quick walk around get to about 40 feet away.

all the tail functions. the turn looks like the light isnt dispersed right but its the angle its being looked at because of the way the inside of our tail lights are. you can tell how well these superflux put out light. its even lighting up the side of my garage well and they are all aimed back. gotta love the instant on-off of LEDs.

Thanks for watching. and lastly this was at 11.38V since car was off, still not full potential 12V. so the LEDs were doing 60mA instead of 70mA. so even brighter when im actually driving.
