Convo Pro install problem!

Convo Pro install problem! I need some help.
As I was putting on the front Convo Pro's, I noticed that as I was putting the Centerline lugnuts on, the rim got tighter and tighter. Till I couldn't even turn the rim. I crawled under and looked and the brake caliper housing is tight against the inside of the Rim!
I thought there was no grinding involved for these rims? They're 15x 7.5. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, please let me know what I have to do to make them work?
I haven't even tried the backs yet!

Re: Convo Pro install problem! I believe Trevor D has them on the front of his car. I've been in touch with him and his part number is different than but, the only difference is that the one's he has say "double bolt pattern".
I want to try to make these work. I'll go buy a grinding wheel.

Re: Convo Pro install problem! what? 15x7.5 on the FRONT??? you would be the only one. Trevor has 15x7.5's out back with 5" of BS. if your talking about out back...you could start by checking the backspacing to see if its correct: measure from the backside of the wheel (where the wheel would contact the brake rotor and mount up) to a flat piece of something (like a yard stick) sitting across the width of the wheel. thats backspacing.

Re: Convo Pro install problem! Trevor sent me his part number for his rims. I bought mine at Jeg's, and if you look under Centerline Convo Pro's Street. Trevor has part #005755540 and I ordered part #005755547. The back-spacing is fine. I just measured from the back of the tire into the lug position and it measures about 5 3/4". I didn't order the same wheel as Trevor because it says that wheel has "double bolt pattern". Whatever that means.
Oh well, I'm grinding now.

I used the grinder on the ribs around the front calipers and took them down about 3/16's of an inch. They fit perfect now.
Like everyone said the rear went right on, no problem!
I love these rims and tires! The 275/50-15 Nitto's are about an 1 1/2" wider than the 245/50-16's that came off.

215/65-15's. Their about 3 or 4 inches skinnier than the Nitto's. Those are the skinniest tires I could safely put on those rims. <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />
