Dick Harrell Front Bumper Project (tons of pics)
What I did was I bought a big sheet of foam from the hardware store, cut it into strips, then glued those together and had basically a foam block. Then I cut it so it would someone fit to the front of the bumper, and glued it on. To fill in the gaps and further attach it to the bumper I used that expanding foam stuff (worked really well). Then I started to sand away to get the rough shape. Check out the first couple of pages and you can kinda see what I'm talking about.
I bet if you wanted to actually use the bumper, you could fiber glass over the whole thing and it would hold up just fine... hopefully you won't get into a fender-bender or something.
Yup you are right, this is going to be a mold and a piece urethane bumper will come out of it

Yeah, im looking for a used bumper and i bought the foam already, so im ready to start messing around. I used to build with foam in my high school drafting class so its nothing new to me, just setting it up so i can be able to use it on the street it haha.

this is gunna be sweet but i really think once you are done with it u should paint it even just rattle can it and put it on the car to make sure it is all good and take some pictures for us
