Underhood dressup tips please...
Hi,
I am on a 'black it out' spree, and would like to paint the dipstick, aux cover, cruise fittings, and trans/lock bits, to help them blend in better.
What can I paint these with, I'm not sure if the paint will stick, do I need to rough them up a bit?
Also, after doing the !wire mod and !latch, I would like to fill in the holes on the wheel arches.
I have been looking for the ends off a black biro, as they should match in pretty well, but after spending hours searching for the right type of pen end, am ready to give up the search.
Anyone got any other surgestions?
I can't justify the time/effort to weld and paint them over, but I do think that looks sweet.

ASR is something to do with TC is it not?
I don't have TC, so no need to do.
I dont have EGR (2001) and have done !AIR. Also already taped exposed wires.
I really need to know if I need to rough up the smoother bits (AUX cover/Trans lock)) before painting.
