Send me an email and I will hook you up with a guy that can make you a NICE set of polished billet blank center caps.. They will make you wheels look so much better I had them on my Boyd Blaster wheels..

Yea, Budnik calls it the "fat lip" look.. its cool since they can use a larger center section and make the wheel appear to be bigger (use the 18" center in a 17" wheel).. Nice effect.. What size rims did you get??
Those have to be some of purtiest wheels ive seen.. such clean simple lines with a touch of retro and high tech.. I was damn near gonna get those but stuck with my "factory" theme..
Oh, thanks for the mod comment.. im happy to be here

Re: New pics with the Boyds........
17*10 & 17*8, but they look bigger because of the center section. I think I may get some painted Z06's for daily driving sense the Boyds are high maintence.

Here's what you center caps should look like when your done. These are the ones Steve had made up before he made the mistake of selling the Boyds to me.

Re: New pics with the Boyds........
Thanks for posting the pics! How much was it to have them re-polished? I think I may have them chromed or get some wheels for daily driving, because this poshing could get old.

Although I did have them hit the inside of the spokes to try and knock done some of the machine marks. Now I just try and get them once every week or two with Meguiar's 'All Metal Restorer'. Steve gave me about half a bottle when I got the wheels. I also just ordered some Wenol (Steve's recommandation) for if I let the oxidation get to bad. Usually when I clean them I only have to spend maybe 5-10 minutes a wheel to get them looking good again. Kind of a pain but right now it seems worth it. But when I get my El Camino back on the road it's getting Chrome!

Re: New pics with the Boyds........
What was the backspacing on the wheels. I just ordered some billet specialties wheels (SLX01) in 18x10 (7.25 in bs) and 18x9 (6.75 in bs). I sure do hope this looks good because once I get the wheels they are mine I can't return them.
