finally did the (partial) Whistler...
And I also polished the passenger side lens a little
Here are a few shots I took of the process
I thought about painting the ridges, but I decided to do just the partial-whistler. It looks good on some cars, but I already have the hood scoop area painted black, the driving lights are smoked, my grill is black, the wheels are black, the top is black, the taillight panel is black...i didn't want to go overboard with black. And there's so much black on the nose of the car already, so I didn't want to over-do it on the headlights.
I think it turned out pretty good
I'll take some better pictures and have them up tomorrow or Wednesday. (I know my car is dirty and I have cat prints on my hood! Banghead)
Let me know what you think!

Like I said, I did the partial because I didn't want to clutter the front of the car with too many black accents. I'm looking at the car as a whole, and didn't want to mess with the balance of the black accents (didn't want to overload with black here, have less black here, none here...). Sometimes making a car look good is about adding subtle touches here and there and making sure everything looks good together, and not going over the top with anything
