I think some guys have metal ones that are polished ones that look cool and ****.

I'd post mine but everyone knows what a stock fbody door sill with armour-all on it looks like

Yep, as long as it's you're own design and not trademarked. Or you can choose any font you like and have your car's nickname, etc.
