That's why I said ''Professional'' detailer. If you find a detailer (hopefully by a referral) that knows what he's doing and has the correct equipment. He's next to impossible to replace. Weekend warriors can't replace a true detailer.

I use ICE quick spray stuff and it worked great on my MMM Camaro but leaves some residue behind on the Black Camaro, so I need to switch to something else. I have always had the worst luck with cleaning glass products: Armor All wipes sucked, Windex dripped everywhere, anyone know a product that is preferably a towel that can clean glass real well?

I've used Ice products before, and I agree, throw that **** away. I found some Adam's products and haven't looked back, that stuff is absolutely awesome and easy to use too.
Adam's multi-purpose cleaner for wheels and underhood
Adam's car wash
Spray car/truck with Adams detail spray, dry with waffle towel
Spray detailer to use claybar once every 6 months to year depending on feel after wash
Adam's swirl and haze remover on porter cable buffer with orange pad
Adam's fine machine polish on same porter cable with white pad
Adam's super machine wax with black pad
Apply brilliant spray glaze to remove water spots on windows and water repellant treatment; if spots are really bad I use MX-7 for glass then follow up with the spray glaze
Use Adam's micorfiber super plush towels for wiping down between stages
Final step wrap the towel around the black pad and use machine to remove wax and buff to incredible shine
Adam's VRT for tires, vinyl, plastic, rubber seals etc
Leather cleaner/conditioner, carpet and upholstery cleaner as needed
Adam's undercarriage spray for blacking out the wheel wells
After all of that my Camaro and now my Corvette never looked better, and it's only necessary when you see rain water or other not beading up on the car anymore, usually about 2-3 months. Washed every week though.

weekly i use:
ice car wash solution
water blade dry then towel (prevents any runs or smears from towel drying)
carnuba based wax (usually turtle wax)
1 coat of tire shine, then i rub the excess off with a shop towel to get dirt and excess off, then re apply
if im going to make a day out of it
ice car wash solution
water blade / towel dry
synthetic wax
polish
re apply synthetic if not satisfied with coverage
2 coats of carnuba based wax (1st coat applied by hand and removed by hand, second coat applied and removed by buffer)
remove wheels and place car on jack stand
buff wheels with meguiars aluminum polish
buff lug nuts
im currently looking at larger buffers, the old craftsman 5inch isnt working for me anymore
