You have to lower it, but not remove it if that is what you mean.

Here is a shot of the white gauges at night. These are turned way up since I prefer them subdued as I drive. Another cell phone shot...

Hmmm....I didn't have to cut anything. I guess mine came prepped from WS6store for my Camaro; come to think of it, they did have a "drop down" box that said "Camaro" and "Trans Am" .

Regardless, it is a big appearance upgrade.

Should have came this way from the factory, hands down

We are actually working on a bezel ourselves right now, different design but same effect

6LE....a good looking product at a decent price would sell like hot cakes to us Camaro owners. We definitely got screwed from the factory with our plain "Cavalier" style layout.

Basically I am getting the bezel we offer on our overlays (but it is just artwork on the overlays) made in real life. It will be offered in textured ABS (just like the T/A bezel) and also stainless steel (which could be painted or powdercoated any color you want by Silver Ghost).

So, it would look like the artwork bezel here (but stop where it needs to obviously)...

I'd love to see a trans am bezel with the rings chrome/stainless steel. That would kick butt.

It is a MAJOR PITA but I did it...

I bought a brand new T/A bezel and then the brand new stainless piece and had to REALLY work at it for 3 hours to get it in there...

You have to cut this out...

Slide the stainless piece in...

Attach it and then epoxy the old piece back on...

To get this...

Cost was about $100 (at the time I paid $50 for the T/A Bezel and $50 for the stainless piece) + epoxy and time.

If anyone wants it that is how you can make it or I'll sell mine for $100 shipped since I'm working on making my own style...
