WTB: Zaino???
Ok since im pretty new to this i need to know where i can buy Zaino. I know it can be ordered on the net but is that the only way or is it sold in any stores? I also noticed the different choices of zaino products on the market, which one should i start with first? Sorry if i seem clueless but in the past I took my truck to have it washed and waxed at the local carwash, but i dont want anyone but myself touching the new Z28.
Thaks for any help.

As far as I know the net is the only way to go but I could be wrong. They say to start out with Polish Lok(Z-1) or their new NFX accelorator. I used the ZFX and it worked great! The ZFX also allows you to do multiple coats of wax in one day vs having to wait 24 hrs of drying time or so for the next coat. Even before all that you can use a clay bar on your paint to take out any contamaints (this works really well but not really needed unless your car is older or exposed to a lot of atmosphere. i.e. not in a garage)
Next if you have a lot of scraces then use Z-5. Apply as many coats as it takes to cover up all those scrates or to your liking.
Next apply Z-2 for clear coated paint. This will start giving you the true Zaino shine!! Apply several coats as your will begin to really see your paint look more "3-D" after each coat. Follow up after each coat of Z-2 with Z-6 spray. This will also add depth to your paint.
SO here are the products I think you probally need: ZFX, Z-2, Z-6, (Z-5 only if you have scratches) and Z-7 just to simply wash your car with after it is waxed.
I hope this helps cause I know the directions can get a little confusing on the website.

You can e-mail the home office and ask who the closest distributor is to you. wet@zainobros.com What I recommend to the newbies for a minimum to start with is Z-2 polish, Z-6 enhancer spray, Z-7 wash, Z-18 clay bars and the ZFX. Go to the webpage and read up on ALL the info on the products including the application, tips and FAQ's. If you have alot of swirls or a dark colored car, you might want to use the Z-5 polish, which is a thicker version of the polish, to help gradually fill in the swirls, which are more noticeable on the dark colors.
You definitely need to make sure you have the proper supplies. I use nothing but the best 100% cotton towels, 100% cotton wash mitt (white) and Gerber baby diapers.
To acheive the best results the surface needs to be prepped properly. This includes using Dawn dish soap, the blue liquid, to remove the old wax and oils. Then clay the entire car to remove surface contamination and get back to the original smooth surface. Rewash the car to remove any residue and then start polishing.
If you have more questions, post them.

This "rumor" comes up every so often on different boards, I can gaurantee you it is absolute BS. As far as bottles being the same or similar you'll find that the bottle manufactures sell their bottles to hundreds of clients. Since beer cans and soda cans look the same, except the label, does that mean everything that comes in a can is the same.
