pretty sweet car. To be honest I have never really been a big fan of black wheels but it looks tight and on that car and it really goes w/ the color scheme!

I know those need to get done for sure. I think we are going with polished maybe painted and the Baer Eradispeed Rotors finally came off back order so those will be on the car soon too.

 

That will finish it off!

 

What brand of roll bars is that?

 

It is a custom fabricated cage made out of chrome-moly tubing. The cage is like the car one of a kind

 

its almost pretty enough to justify those high 11 sec et's on the juice and 10# pulley. whats up with that anyway?

Well, the color is nice at least...
Could do without the graphics, windshield sticker, black wheels, blackouts in the back, and the pee shooter looking pipes in the back. Still a nice car overall though. That color kinda balances it out.

I don't really like the checkerboard stuff - but everything else is really cool!! I like it but I think some black lug nuts would really set the wheels off, the chrome look a little out of place imho. I think this looks better, <img src="http://members.aol.com/txsvtlightning/ss/ssfront.jpg" alt="" />

I also agree about the black lugs.. the graphics, while not for everyone, are nice and at least sets you apart from the crowd <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

 

Awesome car and very unique. I like the graphics and had considered doing something similar or maybe doing ghost flames however I'm afraid I might get tired of them after a while.

My only suggestion is getting rid of the red bird on the rear between the tail lights. I took mine off and I like the way it looks much better.

I have been looking for the original black lugs to try with the black fikse's since we put them on the car but they have been lost so if I get my hands on some I will put them on and see how they look.
The graphics are kind of wild but since it is the Horsepowerstore's shop car thats what they were going for something wild that grabs your attention.
And speaking of ghost flames I wish I had some better pics I need to get some in the sunlight because through out the checkered graphics are over a 100 ghosted flames.
About removing the bird on the back Chris2000Formula I was going to do this should I start by wet sanding and then buffing the red bird to try and get the rear piece all blacked out is this what you would recommened to remove the bird?

 

Nice car. What you now need are TRUE duals, racing seats (sparco, cobra, or corbeau) with black OR gray leather with electron blue leather or suede inserts, and door panels to match!! That would look absolutely badass!

The only way to get off the graphics and have it look perfect is to buy a center piece from a 97 or older Formula. I think it costs around $70 and I believe this is what Nine Ball did on his. I wouldn't think it would be that hard to switch out.

I used nail polish remover on a cotton ball and very carefully rubbed mine off and then washed the area thoroughly. There will still be a very slight indention where the bird and letters used to be. Most people would not even notice the endention and if they did they may think it should be there.

I really hate the color GM used on the centerpiece. They should have color matched it with the rest of the car or just left it blank.
