T/A bezel painted body color
So I was thinking of getting a T/A gauge bezel for my Camaro and having it painted body color....rather than going with silver or white faced gauges.
anyone done this or do you think it will look like crap?

I've never seen it done. The hard part is actually painting the bezel. The lens & bezel are one piece that do not separate. Seems like the only way you could do it is by dipping the back side in paint just enough to only cover the bezel. Not sure how nice it would look...

You can take them apart, but like myself & others have discovered it's easier said then done. I have a brushed aluminum overlay I need to install but I cracked my stock bezel lens tryin to separate them. Next time I'm using a good dremel & cutting bit. Then you can just epoxy it back together.
I still need to order a new bezel from ^^.

Here is one I found.
There was at least one or two other threads a couple years ago, but I can't find them. During the search though, I bumped some older interesting threads.

hmmm....that picutre might have actually turned me off of doing this. I may just have to go with the Z06 style checkered overlay instead. Thanks for digging those up, I didn't see it when I searched.
