Default Gave our 2nd Gen a Good Washin'!

Well It was pretty nice out so I decided to take out our (mine and Dad's) '73 Camaro out for a nice wash. I finally got some decent pics of it, and I've never posted any pics of her on here. She's not a power monster but she sure is fun as hell to drive, real head turner too. I painted this car with my Dad when I was 5, (5 year old in a paint mask and all the works ) I'm now almost 17 and we still got her.

Here we go:

It's an ugly steering wheel cover, I know, but the steering wheel is thin as *****

Here's how it looks now:

Here's how we plan on having it this summer:

Centerlines! woot

Yeah lol. The previous owner was stripping it down for the track which is why they're there. The fitment on the front drivers side of the hood is a little off too, but I don't think that can be adjusted, I'm pretty sure it was in an accident a while ago. Idk how to realign the hood either haha

I'm truely jealous, i want a cherry second gen really bad. That thing looks like its in excellent shape! Nice work! +1 on doing something with the guages for sure. The centerlines would look pretty good, but i'd think about something a little different imo. Either some prostars, or something like TTII's, they'd make it look a lot meaner!

good looking car I just scraped a 71 that we used for dirt track racing. Definetly needs to organize the gauges a little better.

Thanks guys! Yeah the body is in great condition, thats the first thing we took care of 10 years ago. Now i'm trying to convince my Dad to do the exhaust, but he doesn't want to after it "Being a bitch on my 71!"
