Re: CLAY BAR When I use the clay bar on my car I mix 2 cap fulls of Zaino 7 to a spray bottle then add water. Shake and spray on the area you want to clean and use the clay bar. You can get them at almost any performance store. Im not sure who else sells them.

Re: CLAY BAR I have used the Meguiars clay bar system before.It comes with a clay bar and a Mist & Wipe Spray. It worked pretty good. Just make sure you spray ALOT of the mist and wipe spray. Also don't apply any pressure to the bar, just let it glide over the car. It will pick up stuff without any pressure. Good Luck.

Re: CLAY BAR Don't use that Megauirs crap, I would never use them again, not even if I got it free. You better off taking it in one hand, going to the store and throwing it away. It streaks, it doesn't pick up stuff correctly and some other people say it crumbles apart. It's a pain in the ****, don't bother.
I would use the Mothers kit, for a lube, I would use a bucket of soapy car water, if you want you can fill up a spray bottle and spray as you go along.
All you really need to do is keep the surface very very wet and rub the clay bar back and forth with slight pressure. You'll see the clay bar picking up all kinds of dirt.
I cut the bar itself into four peices and use two on a really really bad car. Chances are you will induce swirl marks, it just happens, no big deal, you'll want to follow up with a nice polish such as 3M Swirl Mark Remover (part number 39009). From there seal your car with a polymer sealent or a nice wax and enjoy your new mirror.

Re: CLAY BAR Zaino is the best by far...but when I clay bar I mix a half cap of Z7 with the rest of the full spray bottle, anymore its too much of a pain to clean off, even when you wash it again, the 3M swirl mark remover also works real well... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: CLAY BAR What makes the Zaino clay so much better? It is hard to order Zaino products when you only need just a simple order like the clay bar by itself. It would be alot easier just to make a trip to the store around your house for the Mother bar ........ and make sure you don't buy Megauirs :-) I can't stress that enough.
