Default Brake Caliper Decals.

I had the ones made by Afterthoughts. Is there another company that makes them that might look different? If so, pics please.

Thanks.

As far as I know they are all the same besides the ones you can get with Camaro SS on them, but it is still the same lettering just adds the SS to the end.. That is what I have on my car.

search "brent franker" on google, the guy makes great decals, everything I have I got from him (Z28 overlays, rear inserts, caliper, steering wheel, nose, center cap, and bowtie decals). He is a sponsor on other camaro forums, just not this one.

+1 for Brent Franker!
Great guy to deal with, and an F-Body enthusiast.

Do you have any pics of your car from the side? Did silverghost powder coat your calipers? Those are some great looking decals guys thanks for posting up some other options.

I didn't do those, that looks to like paint to me, not alot of metallic in it.

Here is my match for SOM in powder, much deeper than paint.

I am away from home right now but when I get back we will put together a powder coat "package" next week. I have a couple things I would like coated. What decals have you used with success or will any decal work? Specifically do you know where to buy the decals you have done over the color and under the clear successfully?

Sounds good let me know. I have had success with any good quality vinyl. The only ones I had problems with were people who sent decals with their calipers that they got on ebay for $2 or whatever. The vinyl was way too thin and the powder bled through it during curing causing a color change. Bfranker uses good stuff, never had any problems with ones that came from him. The afterthoughts auto ones a really good quality also.

You can paint them, but durability tends to be an issue. I get a few sets of calipers every week typically, and most of them are ones that were painted and didn't take long to get messed up, which is where I come in

$185 all four calipers and brackets, powder coated any color(s) you want, can even rebuild them with fresh GM seals/boots, etc for $100 extra.

I painted mine with Folia-tec caliper paint (2 part epoxy).
It is extremely durable, glossy...been on for years now and looks as good as when first done.

I am about to order from forth circle. I have tried contacting Brent Franker a couple of times in the last couple of weeks with no reply, maybe he is out of the decal business? I am impatient because I want to get my calipers sent off to silverghost so I hope the forth circle decals are good quality like Frankers.
