I'll see if my guy wants to get into it. I'm sure it will cost quite a bit more because it won't just be waterjet, it will be waterjet and custom hand beveling...

How would one go about beveling this?

What about a bezel for the pre 98 camaro's? I've always thought one would look good in there, I'd buy one made out of smooth plastic that I could paint silver that would work with the stock setup.

Probably take 10 minutes with a dremel...

Problem is 1993-1996 already have a bezel AND (unlike Trans-Ams have in the Camaros) there is no non-bezel lens...

Thanks. It was just an idea, I don't want to put you out. I'm interested, but not sure if I'd get it just yet (I have a Formula which already has a bezel), but others might. Cost would be a big determining factor though.

Mark, Id be down for one of the GTO type bezels for sure. Might be worth it to look into prices for production. Most everyone likes the look of it.

Silly me for asking this question but do you pull the needles off then swap these out? I thought I've read before this isn't ideal as you can easily install these incorrectly and your indications would be messed up.

Yes, and its not hard at all. Most people write down where exactly the needles sit and then reinstall accordingly. Overlays are done by the thousands by regular people like you and me.

Not really hard and the needles kind of go where they want to be (which is the right place). Hard to explain but you kind of have a margin of error where they grab and put themselves in the correct spot.

Put them in the way wrong spot and they WILL grab but it is pretty easy NOT to do that by just following the write-up they come with.

Also takes 10 seconds for a shop to plug in their laptop and check them for you...

Mark, I would be down for a GTO style one for sure! I wouldnt even mind paying a pretty penny for it either. It think that design would sell really well, even versus the plain ABS OEM style. Let me know if you want to make one and I will be the test car. You can ship it with my overlay and Ill install it all with my new LEDs at one time.

Seriously though Mark, could we see the stainless steel flat trim you were talking about, and maybe laid on top of the ABS one to see what effect it gives?
