We need more pictures of this car!!!

I've seen quite a few that are poorly attempted, but so far this seems to be the only thing that looks good. I would LOVE to hear a sound clip of this setup as well.

 

any decent fabricator can make that exhaust. All you have to do is take whatever height exhaust pipe you want and split it down the middle. Add sheetmetal to make it whatever width you desire and weld back together. Bingo, you have flat exhaust pipe.

 

Are you talking about the used one's on ebay that arn't the same type or boom tube on that T/A?

 

I emailed the guy, he said they came off Rusty Wallace's car, and a fabricator that worked for Rusty's team made them for him. They also made a pretty wicked intake for him. He sent me pics, but I dont want to go around whoring off his property.

Yea they are used on ebay all the time, like I just said. The ones on there you have to cut up and modify to get anything close to what is seen on that T/A. There are always a few used nascar boom tubes on ebay. Good luck finding ones that look like the ones on that T/A. That is why I said go to Dr Gas.

 

I see what you are saying, but if I could get a set for 70 bucks and modify and coat them in high heat paint. That is a better deal and more appealing to some than paying 550 dollars for the Dr. Gas ones. It's just another option...

 

That's gotta be loud as hell on the street. Better idea is to just dump it on the pass side and get it out of your ear while driving.

My car has side exit exhaust, have had it for a couple of years now. Clearance sucks but I like the way they look. Have a video of how they sound.

I'll play, but I don't have them on a Fbody. Here they are on my 91 C4 Vette.

 

IMO, Center mount exhaust looks MUCH better.

i didnt think i'd be a fan of side exhaust on a fbody but it looks good and sounds great!

 

thats more for a track car IMO but if done right i think it will look cool

 

IMO, side exhausts just look ghetto on our cars. Leave that for the fox bodies and f-150's.
