Swirl Marks are aggrevating!!!!!!!!!!!11 I have some pretty bad swirl marks and I was wondering how can I get rid of them?? Can I have the car wet sanded and buffed, can I have it buffed out, or will it have to be wat sanded and then have another coat of clear?????

Re: Swirl Marks are aggrevating!!!!!!!!!!!11 have you tried the 3M scratch remover? Zaino also has some polish for scratch clear coats but from what I hear the 3M is better for scratches
Re: Swirl Marks are aggrevating!!!!!!!!!!!11 Wet sanding is your best bet if they are really bad. If they are the normal light (not deep) swirl marks, Formula113 will fill them in nicely and leave you a beautiful deep shine.

Re: Swirl Marks are aggrevating!!!!!!!!!!!11 The Zaino polish will gradually fill in the swirl marks, even the worse ones can get filled in eventually. To remove the swirl marks takes an abrasive and will remove some of the clear coat.

Thats where I got mine...I usually use Zaino but if I get a bad one, I step up to the 3M with the buffer...

Re: Swirl Marks are aggrevating!!!!!!!!!!!11 I went today and got some McGuires Strach X today and I went to wash my car and it came a down pour!!!! So it messed up my chances to do try it.... I applied a little to the back bumper and it looked like it might do some good .... I am gunna try to pick up some 3M if I can find some(not a pep boys around here) I am going to detail it fully Saturday or Sunday(which ever day I have free)
