When I started reading this thread the other day, you had not started a lid yet. So I was going to give you the one I started a while back and try to save you some time!





Looks like you already have that more than covered now, and I like yours better! Very, very cool!

Damn. i dont usually post up patting backs, but that is sick. i wish i could work with my hands at all. if its painted or polished, its going to look factory. plus you get the satisfaction that you made it yourself.

I finish the lid ....almost!! I did wanted to see something polished, it still needs to be wet sanded and polished, but for a half *** polish here it is

it all looks badass...just wondering how you will make the lid attach at the front like stock? or is thier a differant way you had in mind?

I might set it up like the stock lid where the back slides in some slots and put a couple of bolts on the sides towards the front. I made the lid stick out futher then stock so that I can use the RAM AIR. I'm going to put a seal around the hood opening so that the air goes straight into th lid

the tube is angled down....but I think your right it's not 100% straight. When it's on the car you really don't notice it!
