There is a guy with an SS that has the vette flags on his fenders under the SS lettering. Look in dragonz28's thread. He just got granted his gm licensing and is waiting for the finalization. Owns emblempro.. trying searching for the thread and look towards the end, or what the end is now.

I have the logo on my wheels, but that's it.

As much as Jake is badass, I'd never go out of my way to put Corvette logos on my car - since after all, it's not a Corvette.

i dont understand why you would want that. I mean just straight up vette logos. I have thought about hybrid logos. Like the vette flags attached to an arrowhead etc but that was just for the FRC's becuase lets be honest, its a corvettes engine. Engineered for the corvette. But anywhere else, i dont think it would be right. But thats just me. If you want to do it, then go for it!

BTW what is that symbol to the far right? Never noticed that before! I'm not a vette guy despite my name, my ZO6 was only alive for two days

Idk if the emblems your talking about are the ones ive seen locally on a Silverado & Trailblazer SS. The Silverado has just 1 on the tail gate, and the TB SS has it up on the front fender's. Looks good but idk if i would put 1 on my car...

The symbol to the right of the bowtie is a Fleur Di Lis, french for Flower Of Louis, although I have no idea why that would be on a corvette, because there is nothing french about the vette's history at all.

Probably someone's custom addition to it, that whole area with that small symbol looks to be in a different shade of red.

Nope, that's how they come from the factory. Not custom.
They all have the Fleur Di Lis, no matter the color.

I've seen those on old school muscle cars and I think the 57 chevy. I dunno if those are "vette" emblems.

Where did the fleur-de-lis come from? At the time, Chevrolet was conducting research on various emblem designs for the 1953 and 1954 passenger cars. They looked at the Louis Chevrolet family history in an attempt to discover a crest or some type of heraldry that they could utilize. Unfortunately, they came up empty, but they did realize that Chevrolet is a French name and the fleur-de-lis (flower of the lily) is a French symbol meaning peace and purity.

Wow, I totally found the site where you copied and pasted that whole passage.
Despite your reply being redundant, good work with the fact checkin'!!! HA!

I really like the look of those old SS flag emblems. They're classic without being rip-offish.
