Default grille emblems?

i see the SS on the black grills or the blue bowtie or whatever....and the older z28 emblem

my car is not an SS so i wont put the SS emblem
i am not digging the blue bowtie...nor the older z28

is that 1970sih z28 symbol adaptable to the grille like the other 2?

i think the older z28, ss and bowtie emblems have pins thru and you put the backing plate....anyone know if the 1970ish has that plate?

I've seen it done before with those 70' style badges. So yes it will work. I was going to do that myself till I changed my mind.

In general. I'm thinking about getting a SLP SS grille, taking the SS badges off and getting another C6 style badge made for that as well...

So was I.......

Do you already have those badges on the ride rear? If not I don't think that old school badge would fit in. Also, you have the issue of having too many badges on the car if you do have those badges on the three usual places....

ok...my question, is about the emblem i want, if they make it with the backing plate as they do with the z28/ss/bowtie emblems so i can adapt it to my billit grille...not the slp or stock or side emblems.

i did some search and ill have to use a rear deck z28 emblem. comes with the pins and backing plate.

I put the 70's Z28 emblems on mine, cut the pegs off with a dremel and used some body tape to hold them on.
