Re: Need help finding chrome dipper look in your yellow pages under "plating" or under "metal refinishing".. if that fails find a shop that fixes up hot rods and find where they get thier chome done.. last resort would be to go to a good paint & body shop and find out who they use.. They may seem hard to find but they are all over the place..

Re: Need help finding chrome dipper FYI: Technically, chrome isn't a "dipping" process. Simply put, chrome is applied by submerging a metal part into a tank of a solution containing heavy quantities of metal in molecular form. The molecules of metal are attracted to and adhere to the metal object because the object is charged electrically, which attracts the molecules and thus builds up a coating. The coating is then polished to a bright chrome finish. A good chrome job is usually built up in three layers. First copper, then nickel, and then a layer of chromium.
