Pulled the Z28 out today!
Pulled the Z28 out today! Well, I started getting the car ready for summer. I still have a LONG ways to go. I'm gonna start detailing the exterior, then under the hood, then the interior. Today, I just washed the outside and sprayed under the hood to knock the dust off.
I just installed the TTII's and I'm waiting on my Strano Springs and Konis to arrive here in a couple of weeks. I threw that Punisher Skull vinyl on the airlid the other day, but I'm gonna pull it back off. Don't think I like it. I plan to finish polishing everything under the hood (it's hard to see in the pics, but the AC Drier, TB, and all hose fittings as well as the brake box are high polished) and scrub all the junk out. Then, I'll be doing the !wire mod, as well as painting the back of the headlight housings, and the bumper support and lower airbox. Whew...I've got my work cut out for me.

Planning on that too, but may be replacing all of the glass first
It was covered in acid rain when I bought it a few years ago and I've just recently started to actually get it to start coming off. Plus, the windshield looks sandblasted. If I get it looking decent, tint is the very next thing. Otherwise, I'll throw it on after I drop too much money on new glass.

Ebay. I still can't decide what I think about it. I think it's too "bright". It has to come back off anyway. I threw it on real quick to see if I like it. I want it airbrushed on. If I go the airbrush route, I am pretty sure I'll like it, as I'll have it in a lighter, grayer tone and not so "in your face". I'm gonna pull the lid back off this week and pull the vinyl, sand down the lid, prime to hide the SLP logo, and respray. After that, I guess it's time to find someone who can airbrush.
