Default My 35th Anny stripes

Should I keep them or remove them? I like the black on red combo, but I don't like the stripe style, I'd prefer the berger stripes over these.

I'm having a buddy polish my car soon and I'm trying to decide if he should remove them while he's polishing my car or if I should leave them.

BTW I've got black ZR1's on it now, these where just the best pic I have of the stripes.

I like the 35th stripes, but I dont think the red on black works for them. I think a different style would look great though.

If they were the true 35th Anniv. style like mine below I would say keep them, but those look funky so I say lose them. Get some red 35th style from 3rd gen decals, they would look great.

KCMO! nice. I say lose them by far, nothing beats a blacked out SS/TA! It will look a lot cleaner after the removal and everything will flow better.

Ditch those and go with a real 35th stripe in red! Way too much going on with those on the hood!

Ya, they're the 35th anny style, not the true 35th. They were on the car when I bought it, otherwise I would have gone with a different style from the get go, or just not put any on I personally don't like the true 35th anny stripes, I hate the checkers, I just think they look dumb. I'm just affraid that if I take the stripes off the paint under the stripes will be darker than the part that wasn't covered. I've had the car 2 years and it's rarely driven, and it never sits outside so the paint shouldn't be faded, but I don't know how long the stripes have been on there and how well the previous owners took care of the car.

These are the stripes that I really like and I think they'd look awsome on my car:

BUT I can't find any place that sells them. The only place that I've found that list them doesn't want to sell them because the owner of the shop has never seen a set lay down properly without having all sorts of air bubbles in them.

I am sure you will be fine if you remove them. I wouldn't be to worried, espically if it doesn't sit in the sun and you are getting a buff.

Have you ever considered going with silver? or a gunmetal color?
A guy on here recently put on some flat black ones -- those looked awesome (nice and subtle).

I think they'd look good with a different color.

Best set up for black SS. Black and (Silver or white) theme with:
CME. Manta, emblems, and wheels with theme colors. CAMARO decal in berger panel. Chrome billet grill
