exhaust tips

exhaust tips I have a 2000 Z28 and I am about to put a new exhaust system on it. I was wondering if anybody had some interesting tips on their car. I am looking for something other than Borla or Corsa or the same ole dual outlet round tips on both sides. I like both of the SLP CME systems. I want something that is dual outlet, but oval shaped or rectangle shaped. Any links or ideas would be appreciated.

Re: exhaust tips I had the same problem as you. I wanted something that was not just the ordinary like everyone else. After a loooooong time of searching I found what I wanted personally. They are Mecham "Power Oval" 7.5" tips. I love em!! They are chrome.
Here is a link to a pic of it on my car but the picture kinda of cuts half of it off. It does not do the tip justice though! They are really awesome I would recommend them to you and they are oval.

Re: exhaust tips Thanks for the replies, those Mecham tips look great, and I have looked at them. I was thinking about the dual oval tips that come on Cadillac STS's and ETC's, but I have been unable to locate those, or any like those. I also emailed Bassani to see if they had any pictures of any of their tips.

Re: exhaust tips I also have the mecham tips but in a satin finish. they look damn good on a t/a <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> what about the four pipes coming out the middle like some of the SS's <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: exhaust tips Thanks for the input. Anybody else have any ideas? I thought about somehow taking four of the oval megs tips and making them into dual oval tips and have the pipes positioned on either side (in the stock exits) or exiting under the license plate in the center.
