Thanks guys!

UPDATE:

The suspension parts arrived yesterday. I have a front suspension from a '95 Vette with the 13" brakes and a rear from from '91 six speed car so it's a heavy duty Dana 44 with a 3.45:1 gear. Time to disassemble, paint, add new bushings, brakes, etc.. I'll try to post some pics later. I'm still having trouble with my image hosting situation.

It called the Daytona style hood. It was designed during the time when the original Grand Sports were racing. The Weber side-draft carbs needed more air and the cars were running hot. They put the louvers on the sides of the bulge so the carbs could get more airflow and the front louvers allowed more air to flow through the radiator by giving it a path out of the engine compartment. The engine will be visible through the large lovered openings.

Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone.

We've been working on cleaning up the donor suspension and gathering up some suspension upgrade goodies. I should have the tube frame in a few weeks. I bought an LS1 engine too.

I'll post pics as soon as I find a reliable picture hosting method.
