Default Pics of my powder coated caliper/hangers.

I think they turned out pretty good. I did the powder coating myself, and installed the decals I got from bfranker. They look great. I just wanted to show them off a little. lol

We have a regular electric oven we use for just powdercoating, and a hobbie type powdercoat gun. The trick is prepping it.. sandblasting, and brake clean. I'm helping do a set in a really nice blue right now for a friend. (The guy who owns the equipment) It can be nerve racking!

Wow! That looks like Brembo quality.

Sure would be cool if this is how they came stock.

Those look perfect. I went to a powdercoat shop the other day to see about getting mine done. $20 a piece but they weren't sure if they could do it with the rubber still on them so I decided they weren't the guys I wanted doing mine.

You can easily disassemble them. I have powdercoated them both ways.. with the rubber (cylinder boots) still on, and without, and the calipers work fine either way.

Silverghost would probably know more about it than I would though.

Thanks guys!

Just an FYI....the "squealer" tab should always be on the inboard caliper surface not the outboard.

Looks like you have the pad in the wrong place on one wheel!

Looks great. I'm gonna do mine pretty soon. Just got done powder coating my ZR1's and the cast calipers are looking dull. Thinking of doing the caliper in the same color as the wheel, and then super durable gloss black for the brackets.

We're just doing them for our friends, and ourselves. Thanks anyway!

Here are some more we just did, but in a very high gloss blue. The pics where I didn't use a flash you can see how much they shine. It looks almost like a blue glass. The hangers were done in Silver.

Rear caliper

And here is his intake powdercoated the same color, and the fuel rails in the same silver powdercoat as the hangers
