!Side moldings

That RS spoiler is held in place with 2 bolts on the fenders. You would have to fill those in and repaint.

if you read my earlier post, i said i'm not worried about filling holes, and there are more than 2 holes on the quarter panel, there are 3 on each side and 5 on the center section

Car looks great, I'd lose the ground effects personally before I lost the spoiler though. Never been a fan of GE on these cars as they sit so low already.

Humm, well I guess my 3 piece spoiler is aftermarket then, because there is only one bolt. Learn something new everyday

Its a wasted day if you didn't learn something new. thats what i was taught.

I learned today, well technically yesterday, that when you taking off the center section of the spoiler, don't pull to hard cause the base spoiler likes to come apart

well that means i need to seperate it and do something custom with it

can anyone tell me if there was a shadow after you took off the molding? like 2 dif shades of paint due to fading? because i want to do this but am afraid the shadow will be noticable.

When i took my side molding off, i had to do a little cleaning behind them. just used a polish, and then some wax. You couldn't tell they were ever there. I also took off my spoiler, the rs add-on spoiler, and there were no shadows or anything under them either.

looks good with the molding off, i need to remove mine. Also i kinda think it would look better without the rs spoiler, i know the pieces on the side really bothered me on my old car before i switched to the ss spoiler

I took off the RS ground effects (the holes mostly point down, so they aren't too noticable). I left the RS spoiler on though. I actually like it. Link is sig has some pics.

Yup those nasty side moldings got taken off as soon as I got my car home after I bought it. The red was a different shade color then the actual body color. I was told GM had another company come in and put them on before they left the factory and that's why they were a different color. That's coming from a gm parts guy though and I've got plenty of wrong info from those guys so who knows...
