Default !Side moldings

Decided today to take off the side moldings off my camaro. Then that made me wonder if taking off the rs spoiler would look better. I have taken off one of the side pieces so far. I think it will look good with just the z28 spoiler.

What do you think about removing the rs spoiler?

Here are a few of the car cleaned up

I thought the little end-pieces were bolted in from underneath. They're just glued on like the moulding ?

I like the RS spoiler, it's a refreshing change from the endless SS spoilers I see. I vote to keep it.

Good call dudeski. Looks good, idk about the spoiler, Looks good either way. To get an idea I'd look for some Z28's with the RS package.

Looks good, dont paint the wheels and leave the spoiler. Just get yourself some black C5 ZO6's and it'll look sweet.

looks good with the moldings removed. How did you do it. I have a blue RS. I am nt sure but I remember reading on there that the center piece of the spoiler will come off no problem but when removing the side, you will be left with some holes to fill because of the bolts.

thanks guys for all the comments. I will be putting some vht on the third brake light, just waiting for my friend to get a masking sticker cut for it. I am going to finish taking off the spoiler and post some pics to see what you guys think then. All three pieces of the spoiler are bolted, the ends have 3 bolts each and the center has 5. Filling holes is not a big deal for me, if i decided to keep it off. but anyways thanks for the comments and i will get pics up of the car without the spoiler soon.

I removed the molding on mine last summer, and I actually kind of regret it. It gave the car a little "something" on the side, which was already very clean/simple. It definitely looks better on the Transformuhawkbirds though.

My car is a z28 with the rs, y3f, body kit. I have been looking for some pics of cars with the body kit and just the z spoiler. There are plenty of pics of body kits car with the rs and ss spoiler, but not too many with the z spoiler. So if you see some post em up, thanks

edit... btw, the glue holding the spoiler on is some strong ****, best bet is to use a heat gun while your pulling it off. the same glue holds the side moldings on.

I'd lose the RS spoiler, I've never liked it. I don't like the body kit either, but I know there's a ton of holes to fill if you lost it.

I'd get some wheels too when you have the $$, but for the love of god don't get C5 Z's. They're WAY overdone, and are FUGLY in the first place, IMO.

The C6's with black spokes would look great on there, IMO.
