Corvette seats I was wondering if Vette seats will fit in my Camaro. I "babysat" my bosses Vette a few weeks ago and the seats in it were so comfortable. I haven't checked on how much I could get a pair of these for, but I figured that I could probably get the same color leather as my Camaro's as opposed to aftermarket seats.
Re: Corvette seats I dont see why not.. but then again ive NEVER seen it done so maybe there is a reason (fitment or cost).. New ones from GM would be WAY to pricey.. and it might be hard finding good condition ones from a junk-yard.. T/A seats are a big improvent over the Camaro seats and much easier to find <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> - Let us know if you find out for sure??

Re: Corvette seats It looks like leather Trans Am seats are around 800-1000. I emailed a Vette salvage yard for prices on Vette seats. Meanie, I like those aftermarket seats in the red Z, but I do want leather, and aftermarket leather seats tend to get really pricey.

Re: Corvette seats I was looking into doing Corvette seats but I can't get anyone to let me us their Camaro to see if the power plugs are interchangable. If there is anyone in my area that is up to test a seat swap we can use the seats in my Vette.
Watch the for sale section over at www.corvetteforum.com for used C5 seats. I found a couple of sets for $500-600 (standard not the sport buckets)

Re: Corvette seats Thanks for the pricing on the vette seats. I emailed a salvage yard about them but never got a reply. I can't remember if the Vette passenger seat is controlled electically or not, but I think it is. That would be a big problem as it would not be adjustable in a Camaro. I would guess that the driver's side wiring harness would be compatible, but that is just a guess. I know I have seen a guy on one of the boards with Z06 seats in a Camaro.

Re: Corvette seats those seats look great and two tone would look good, but I am looking more for the bolstering and comfort that the Vette seats have (or any good aftermarket seat would probably feature). But those prices are really good.

Re: Corvette seats Well, an idea that I had, was to buy the replica corvette seats from Steel Horse (Who usually supply trucks.) They only come in two colors, grey and tan, and whehter they work or not who knows, but they are only something like 1,300 new, and they don't say "corvette" on them...just an idea..
