Had the Z28 buffed out..........again
I decided to leave my car unguarded in the shop one night, not up on the lift, and in proximity to one of my easily bored female dogs. She did the good ole 360 jump and scratch on it, complete with a trip up the hood and over the rear of the car. I was talking to Tinkrd about it and he said he would give a try and see what he could do, blind mind you. I didnt get any before pics, I think he has one, but it looks much better. 90% of the tons of scratches she put in it are gone. Just trying to eek out a few more months until I can repaint it. New car cover coming later this week.

Car looks good, and those wheels look a little familiar...
They are Forgeline RS-Comps, they just look like they are in need of some polishing.

PLEASE get a good quality car cover on that thing. I can’t believe it had as many scratches as it did from just moving it in/out of the shop.

I'm a dog owner also, but I gotta say that dog would be hurting the next day
I also have a dark blue Jeep, and once another dog tried to get at mine inside and scratched my doors up pretty badly. Some 3M rubbing compound and a PC with a yellow LC pad removed 90% of those scratches. I was pleasantly shocked

Its not that easy. The street version comes with center caps. The track version (which we have) comes with an open center and uses a lug cover, which looks worse than running without it. Hence me saying fabricated center cover. I am going to have to make a two piece cover with male and female thread, then weld on the male side.

Meh Forgeline RS-Comps are straight up race wheels pretty much (forged, welded 2 piece). Mine literally came off a race car.
I thought mine looked pretty good with the arp studs / aftermarket lugs. I also painted the hubs gloss black which was a huge improvement although I don't have any pictures with it like that.
