window tint question
My wife's trailblazer HAD 15% tint all around and she never had a problem with other drivers. She got pulled over one day and got ticket so we got rid of the tint (was on there when we got it). Ever since then men yell, follow, swerve, honk, and one has even exposed himself. Which is better? 15% with no incidents or no tint and 2 incidents where she was soo scared she called the police.
BTW more time WTIH tint. I'm convinced privacy tint is much more important than people think.
How is it protecting the weak civilians less important than protecting those who chose to serve.

i agree,& despite the 2 citations ive received nothing will stop me from doing it.i called our local police dept 2 years ago when my wife,our baby daughter & myself were driving home from a xmas party on xmas eve & some piece of **** waiting at a bus stop threw an object & shattered our rear window of my wifes grand am while my wife was driving.if the tint wasnt there all that broken glass wouldve went in our daughter face,the tint held the window from imploding inward.**** that story still pisses me off
I don't know why these guys are calling that law a "joke". I had 20% on the side windows and 35% on the rear window of my old camaro and a cop stopped me (here in ohio) and hit me with a $160 ticket. Not more than two hours later i'm driving through another city and another damn cop stoppes me for the same thing! I had to show him i just got a ticket to get out of another one! Personally i think it depends on which city(s)you drive in that determines how strict they are.
I guess when you are the law you are above the law.
NY is the same way, you can't really get away with having dark tint around here. You would get pulled over the same day you have it done.

my wife's liberty i had tinted with 50% on the front and darker on the rear. you can barely tell there is anything on the front - too light in hindsight. i had 15% on a previous car for several years, but then pulled over 3 times in the span of 6 weeks for it. im planning on tinting the camaro 35% all around with figuring that shouldnt be a problem. hey, maybe we should find a shop between you and i to get a multiple discount!
