I use Nu Finish - Once A Year Car Polish.
Recognized by Consumer Reports several years back.
Easy to find at Wal-Mart, and economical. Comes in an orange bottle.

My Story: After putting it on a 5-year old Olds Calais, one person thought it was a "new" car.
However, I have heard many raves about Zaino.

You need a product with some abrasives and a buffer like the Porter Cable 7424 if you want to actually remove fine scratches/swirls and not just fill them. I use Menzerna products and they works great. Their FMJ polish is actually easier to remove than Zaino.
