I'd pull the ligher(I don't smoke either.) keep the DC socket and simply put a cap on it.

You might need the socket for a cell phone charger or something.

after looking at it today..thats exactly what im going to do. Until i need a switch/gauge mounted. Just gotta find the cap

You can cap it off, put an eject/start button (either for laughs or a real start button) shift light, and that's all I can think of, which most were already stated. Or BlkBird's ***** of course.

I don't smoke either so I took out the cig lighter and replaced it w/ a no smoking sign plug. NAPA sells the plug.

That is probably the best and simplest idea yet!!!!!!!!! It also should let others discreetly know you would prefer them not to light up in your car.

That will be on my shopping list for my next trip to NAPA.

i got a round polished aluminum cap off ebay for like 10 bucks. its for a mustang but its pretty much a universal size. fits great. they didnt list any for a camaro. just have to look.

I remember once seeing someone on this forum had a small inprint of the screamin chicken on either their cigarette lighter or lighter cover....anyone know what im talking about?

hmmm...so the m6 cigarette hole is bigger then the automatic console plate hole....
