Center Consol for 4th Gen Camaro Is there such a thing as someone making replacement center consols for 98-02 camaros? If so, can you order custom ones or is it just OEM replacement?

If I recall correctly I have seen them sanded/painted/finished as well as "Carbon Fibered".
I would think that smoothing the hard plastic would be a breeze for dressing it up, but I don't know about the top where it is foamy (ya know?)

yea... i thought I would end up just doing it myself. Between the crooked ashtray lid and the crooked lid on the consol "box" and the general f*##ed up condition of the thing... and the fact that I will want to be putting a couple of gauges into it someone sometime soon.... I was wishing I could just get a new one built to spec.
