Nice looking car. I normally don't like ZR1 wheels on birds but they look sweet on your car.

That's a very nice looking hawk! Finally lowering the car is one of my favorite mods so far! But it took him about an hour to an hour and a half or so to finish them. Thanks again for all the responses!!

Ya it took me a little longer as this is what the top of the front shock bolts looked like just all rust! Major pain in the ***. The rears went right in tho

Looks very nice....just wondering....what wheels are those and where did you get them? Also, why did you remove the blacked out tail lights?

They are ZR1's (17x9.5/17x11) and you can get them anywhere that you can buy vette wheels. I know TomZheels had them but I haven't heard if they were back up and running yet. I personally just got mine on ebay and they were perfect. But I ended up removing the lights when I got pulled over out of town for them and then word got back to my hometown police and then the week I got back I got pulled over 3 times over the next 5 days for them so off they went and I bought some new lights but I still have the black ones for shows and pictures and whatnot. Thanks!

Installing them was pretty easy. I did it on a lift, and didn't have any spring compressors for the rears so I just unbolted the shocks and lowered the rear. The fronts I used a wall mounted spring compressor, but you could use standalones from an auto parts store just as easily. You don't even have to compress the new stranos to put them on the front lol... that's how much of a difference there is.

And it took me a little over an hour I believe.
