Ya there the same springs its just the angle of the picture. The pics dont do it justice you really have to the car in front of you. As for install tips i just followed the write up here http://www.ls1howto.com/index.php?article=6. I rented a spring compressor from the local auto parts store. They let you borrow it for free as long as you take it back in good condition. The only problem i had with my install was the front shocks. The top bolt and threads were completely rusted as you can see it the pics. I just it soak in penetrating fluid for and hour or 2, took a wire brush to the threads, ran a 3/8 NC die down the threads to clean them up then hooked the impact on it and spun it off. Just make sure the shock shaft doesn't spin. Hopefully yours wont be as rusted as mine tho. Other then that it wasn't bad at all the rears slide in. I did mine on jack stands and it took good part of the day because of the problem i had with the rust.

Yeah they are the same, it's just that everybody's car is different and some tend to sit a little lower than others. After this week of driving though you can tell the springs have settled a bit more and are looking really nice!!

Don't be so hard on yourself ***...lol
My car has seen rain maybe once... I doubt mine will be that bad. Or at least I hope I imagine the only way rain gets in there like that is driving while its raining. Not from washing...

so after breaking rusted bolts and then having to order new shocks I finally got my springs and shocks on. I am glad that I had to do it all at the same time though because now i wont have to worry about it for a while. I went with Bilstein shocks from summit cause i didnt have money to get what i wanted in this pinch but either way it still rides better than stock. And now I dont have that funny knocking sound up front when I hit small bumps either. But anyway here are my pics...
I went from this:
To this! (I also did a complete detail. Clay, polish, buff, and Zaino.)
