Default Painting my intake, again

I painted my ls6 intake anthracite and decided I didn't like it, so I sanded it and painted it white.
Well I'm tired of white now and I'm about to paint it black. Do I need to strip all the paint off or will it be fine to hit it with some sand paper and start spraying? It has about 7 layers of paint on it, anthracite and white combined.

Also, do I need to use primer since it's a plastic surface or just the adhesion promoter? I don't remember how I did it the first time.

as long as your previous paints and prep work was up to par, just scuff it with some 600 and shoot the paint right over the top of the old paint. good luck man!

I would say if the other paint is still good you should be just fine with a good sanding and a lot of coats of the new color
