Default What do you guys do about scratches in the engine bay?

I have some various scratches on my firewall and fenders from wrenching (mostly from my LT install a year ago). I didn't think these little scratches went through to the metal but i believe there is a slight hint of rust in the scratch. Some of em are in hard to reach areas on the firewall. Should I try lightly sanding them with something and spray the area with underhood black, or I also have por-15? I know im being **** as these scratches are really really tiny but what do you guys think?

Depends, you can use touch up paint but if the engine bay is black you could use some POR-15 to seal the area.

I have used touchup paint, and you can barely tell.

The trick to touching up scratches, per my buddy, is to take a piece of thin cardboard, cut it at a sharp angle and just dab a little paint on the tip. Much more precise. Model paintbrushes are too much they make globs.

This is a good idea! I'll prob try this with some por-15. Thanks for the tip.
