Burnout Rubber
OK bud lets get something straight. Ive been detailing for 8years now and every shop Ive every worked at or managed for that manner has always had a nice 5gal drum of laquer thinner to remove tar and road grim from the lowers of vehicles. Yes if you leave a soaked rag to sit it will damage the clear. But if your only using it on a rag and wiping it clean then guess what, no harm no foul. Go to any experienced detail shop and I garuntee that 95 percent of them use laquer thinner or hell even xylene for that matter. The reason being is they cant spend all day taking road grim off the bottom of one car with somthing alot less agressive. Hence why they use what they use because its quicker. You just need to know what your doing with it thats all.
