Default Is this hood custom or aftermarket?

Found this in the "Mega Gallery". I like how it follows the factory hood lines better than the other cowl hoods I've seen. Anyone know if its a custom or aftermarket hood? If its aftermarket, do they make a bolt-on version?

Looks like a Harwood hood. All the Harwood's i've seen were bolt-on's.

I remember the harwoods for the LT1 camaros, but didn't think they made the same/similar style for the LS1 cars. Guess I was wrong and you are right

Did a search and found more pics in this thread:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...-pics-pls.html

Seems like its not really a popular hood. Looks good on some cars and not-so-good on others so I'm not sold yet... Thanks for the info though!

I like it... it needs big wheels to go with it though to make it look good.

It is NOT a Harwood hood. That is Chris', Whistler's, old car. It is one of three (maybe four, I forget), that he hand made out of carbon fiber.

Harwood did magically come out with a VERY similar hood after Chris' car got national attention at a few shows...

6LE,

do you happen to have any more photo's of whistler's old car? I was thinking I might shave my parking lights as he did and chop a few other things, his is one of the few I've seen shaved and can't find much on the pics

Did "Whistler" also make the hood for VSGLS1? Or is that the same car? With the hood not painted and the ccw's missing? Or did Whistler sell the car to VSGLS1 lol?

Find pics of VSGLS1 and you'll get what you're looking for. He has one of Chris' hoods and one of his bumpers...

Different car. Chris' car was the silver one with the targa, Keith (VSGLS1) is the grey one with no targa.

Chris made both bumpers and hoods...
