Completely agree there and I sure you can get katskinz for about that price and at least they are a known company

I thought about the covers, but for $800 they aren't that comfortable LOL

Mark (6LITEREATER) also offers "race" style seats, which I like more. I'm planning on picking up a set of them because I just (5 minutes ago) put a big hole in my driver side seat because my dremel thought it'd be funny to turn on randomly.

Damn, that pissed me off.

I like the "race" style seats better too. When do you plan on ordering them? I think I might get them in the black swede

Nice, I'd do something like that but I don't have AC any more and the leather gets pretty hot and the fake leather/seude would looke good IMO

Be sure to post some pics when you get them installed

You guys post pics when you get some. I plan on getting some too, either Procar Sportsman or these race style above for my 00 SS. I just dont want to monkey with "adjusting mounting brackets" if you know what I mean. Just bolt and go.

that would be nice ... I know i would buy one, and I have seen in some other threads where other people are looking for one too.

I would just want some thing to use my harnesses until i put a roll bar in my car.

There's definitely a demand for a reproduction of the G2 /LG Motorsports style harness bar. I believe another sponsor tried to make one with 4 mounting points and it looked horrible. The simplicity of the G2 bar sells itself. Just make sure to get the bar at the right level, and just use the rear seat belt mounting brackets. They're very strong.

those Forza seats are what i have been looking into they are like 225 a piece and weigh like 11 lb or maybe it was 17lb either way light. i dont think they make seat brackets for grand prixs though. they also look pretty comfortable compared to lots of lightweights.

it took me over 3 months before i got my hands on the one that in the pic posted above (post #7). a member here PM'd me a link to an f-body autocross website, so i registered and bought the thing. looks great in the car, but before its all said and done, i will get the thing repowder coated.

last month there was a guy selling his who is a member of tech and ls1.com, and that thing sold in mere hours...

i guess since i dont have a job, if i could find a way to reporduce the harness bar i would, to get some money in my pocket...

i have noticed the demand, i get plenty of questions about the one i have. ive even had offers to buy mine for WELL over what i picked this one up for. a thread exists of the sponsor who tried the 4-pt harness bar that the (2) front points attached where the rear bucket seats bolt to the car. i wouldnt say it looked horrible, but yes, it was not very pleasing to the eye to say the least.

only problem i had with install was getting the front bolts secured to the seat belt mounting brackets. the angle of the bar makes it had to get even a combination wrench on the thing to tighten down. once i tear into the car to redo the interior and paint the car, i will address that issue. right now, only over really hard bumps does the bar rattle. i do have 4-pt cam-lock harnesses, but i have not put them in at this time. they will be topped off with some pontic logo'ed harness pads which i have as well...
