How come stainless mirror kits aren't made for non-Trans Am/SS hoods? Also, are these mirrors made to stay on all the time, or just put on temporarily like car shows and stuff?

Haven't had anyone local come by the shop to get a set made... You can keep them on all the time with the 3M tape or choose Velcro instead if you want to take them on and off at shows. The mirrors are stainless and won't discolor, warp, etc. from the heat.

Question for you, I have an 85mm maf and it doesn't have any bolts in it, how much to delete those from the kit or can I use them in other locations?

Do you guys make those billet caps in black chrome? I could have sworn i've seen a ton of caps in black chrome from someone on this site.. I looked at your site and just see regular chrome or machine finish.. Chrome wouldn't really work with my theme so I need something black.

Not sure where else you could use them but the kit comes w/ them. You can give them to a buddy or sell them if you can't find a spot for them.


We don't have any black chrome in stock but we can powder coat candy black over the chrome. It will give it a black chrome look. I'll pm you w/ cost...

Yeah, looking at it as well, I have a FAST intake with the stainless kit, so that's a couple more bolts I'd have to find alternative homes for.

I had done a search, and boy has the price gone up since these came out, guess the cost has gone up as well. Makes me wish I jumped on this back in 2007.
