2010 Camaro to Firebird/Trans Am conversion
But the interiors of the firebirds were different than the camaro's and there really was more of a unique identity with the firebird. We had the base firebird, the formula, the trans am, the ws6 and the firehawk. Going from the base/forumla up to the trans am / ws6 / firehawk, you had different and unique front and rear bumpers.
The camaro only had the base, z28 and ss and the only appearance difference was a rear spoiler and hood. Some could argue that the firebird had more uniqueness than the camaro. You see lots of examples of people putting firebird interiors into camaros, but I can't remember ever seeing the opposite.
So for an outside company to make a firebird, it would need to be completely different. Different interior, different dash, seats, front and rear bumpers before you could call it a firebird.
Hopefully, Chevy makes a bigger distiction between the base, ss and possible z28 then they did in the past.

that is fkn fugly.... the LT1 tailights? the mock up 3rd gen spoiler..i like the wheels but wtf were they thinking? the car should have its own interior not just some last minute stitched in pretty peice...put a cowl hood on it **Sunoco widebody?** soem recaro style seats? a vertible maby? leave the camaro alone..
i think its bad enouh to have to spend 45K on a car that runs 13's stock...thats fkn retarded i dont give a damn how much shiny plastic you put in it..there are better cars, that are faster, and look just as good if not better in the forsale section on this site..i mean people have bought the SS version that came with the LS3 and have yanked the engine in favor of something else.. JMO

i remember seeing a website that did the conversion a year or so back. cost 26k if you send the car in. or 50 something k if you bought the car already converted. similar to the guys who did the gt500 elenor conversion for the mustang guys.
appearance; camaro=catfish, trans am=badass
overall rep=we beat mustangs and are the underdogs at most stuff
