i had the idea of darkening the rest of the lights as a lot of you mentioned. if i can find a good way that will last and look decent i'll do it. thanks for the responses, good or bad, i don't mind. i might try and throw some kind of weather stripping behind or maybe some silicone to help keep water and other forms of moisture out of them.

Hell yea! Nothing like a pair of KC lights in the grill to scream class like you've got! All you're missing is the yellow smiley face covering them!

JMO.
I don't have the black housed lights like that, but I do have the chromey ones. I hated the way they looked so i got some covers for em. Check it:

Very subtly reminds me of a vette. Pics are from a camera phone so don't hate. =P

they would look better if you did a berger panel. i saw a car with those and berger, looked really ****. with the lights alone, its not as impressive. that instance was the only one i like the look of altezza lights.

lol that's funny. I wasn't aware that you make the rules of auto customization. :eyes I like them so far, might fade, might not. I don't style my car based on what's "approved", I do it by my likes/my experimenting. I know my car can talk the talk by what's under the hood, I don't have to worry about the exterior having the most approvals.

I like the style of the lights, but they would look better with a black ring instead of silver or chrome I can't tell what it is. For some reason that makes them look kind of weird. As far as your wiring problem, maybe you can try to find a wrecked LT1 camaro and take the light sockets off of it and splice them to your wiring so they fit properly in the housing? I would definitely stay away from dremeling the housing since any water that gets in will ruin it, and thats already a big problem with aftermarket lights not sealing very well.

well i already dremeled them, not a lot, maybe 1/8" on 3 total sockets.

i'm in the process of a berger panel, i can't seem to find a seller that will complete the deal, usually it's the other way around.

Not bad for euro tails.

If I were you with those I would black them out with nightshades and put a few coats of clear so they aren't dull.

Then, get some clear silicone and seal up those tails so they last longer and hopefully don't fog up on ya.

Also, I think putting some LED's in them after they are blacked out would look pretty sweet.
