put in different tail lights today
they get mixed opinions from the board but i like them, otherwise i wouldn't have bought them. but i didn't pay the ridiculous $180 for the set online, got them for ~$65 on ebay. BUT i had a big issue with the install, they didn't just bolt/plug right in like i was told. the lights had '93/'97 embossed all on the backside of each light. the stock wiring/bulb placement was WAY off as to how they needed to plug in these. i had to use a dremel to cut out a few areas in various bulb lock locations, and still they didn't want to fit 100% or lock in place completely. if i take them out and make a splice extension wire for the odd fitting bulbs, will it possibly affect the bulbs lighting? it shouldn't if i make a good clean splice right? thanks guys, here's a few pics by the way.

well you're all entitled to your opinions, but i don't think it makes it look cheap. if it was the all clear version then yes, but i think the black makes it look better. and my opinion i think the brake light side has a hint of a vette look. but again, that's just my opinion.
but i would like tips/suggestions/any help about the wiring question i had.

I had a set on my 95 Z28 convertible and really liked them. I got the black ones because the car was all black. Was looking at these the other day for my 98 but went with engine stuff instead. Pics at http://www.fquick.com/garages/viewga...ewimg&id=64187

that's what i thought but wanted to be sure. my daily job is wiring up panels/parts for security access so that's easy but i don't wanna skip some mundane detail on my car so better safe than sorry.

No pictures of the type r floormats?
How about the mad blue seat covers?
3urolite neon strand wire around the radio?
No mud flaps?
All kidding aside, I have certainly seen worse, but definitely not my cup of tea.

I personally dislike them, but I can imagine them being a little better if you nightshaded them. I'm usually the guy who likes pretty different looking things as well.

I had those exact same ones on my black SS. They looked really good at first and then about 6months down the road the started to fog up and before ya know it the inside started looking like ****, so I just bought a new set of factory ones. BTW I think they look pretty good as long as they dont get shitted up like mine did.
