Default Fresh Paint Question

I just had my hood repainted on my TBSS. The paint was cracking and got it fixed for free. My question is how long do i wait to wax it. I've heard 30 days to allow the paint to "gas out" and fully cure before waxing it.

I heav heard as such. My hood was done in December and it went into the garage for about 3-4 months I figured it had enough time lol.
