Rubbing compound Hey guys i was just wondering what rubbing compounds is everyone using?? I will be using a PC. I have Zaino but i wanted to get a real good buff before i use the zaino.
Rubbing compounds will dull your finish so be sure as to what you are doing and the process you are taking.
For stubborn imperfections I pull out the 3M rubbing compound on an Orange Pad, set it on speed 3 and go over the panel. I start to increase the speed as time progresses. Once I finish with that, the finish is pretty dull, then I bust out the Mezerna IP and do the same process on a different Orange Pad. Then, (if need be) some TC-8 swirl cutter and finish it off with your choice of wax on a Blue Pad.

I'm sorry, it's jus' the way you worded your question. I like 3M's rubbing compound. I have tried Meguiar's and the results were about the same but I felt that the 3M was more abrasive.
