Can u polish stock rims???
This post is for the people with the aluminum WS6 rims.. the 2000 and older rims. I just wana no if u can polish them stock when they dull out.. or r they clear coated?? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

I contacted a wheel repair company ( http://www.wheelcollision.com/ )about this, and they said that the factory painted or coated wheels were too porous to polish with good results.

What do u mean? that there to hard to polish with good results? or that u can polsih them to good results? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

If they are a "HIGH POLISHED" they should be able to be polished since they have already been polished. If they have a chrome coating you can sand the wheels down using a 80, 240, and maybe a 400 grit sandpaper(to make a smooth finish) and then polish them..... I am in this process now but I need extra time to work on them.
